Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. At the age of 16, she was sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several television dramas. Her critically acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge, in the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. Additional Oscar nominated movies featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Through the years, Alexandra has worked in several notable international and national projects. Some of these include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and French historic miniseries Napoleon. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and The Cannes Film Festival.
