Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her showbiz career at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young as 16 years old. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. The film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial great success. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra's career has seen her work on a number of important national and international projects. Among others, these projects include British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as many other. Additionally, she was a member of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
